It has been a hot and busy summer around here!
Cause for Creation and LOEP are collaborating on some fall craft events, with the help of some members of the Browntown Baptist Church. We have dubbed this collaborative effort “Virginia to Africa”, and we will be offering our handmade Virginia crafts for sale at the Festival of Leaves on Sat. Oct 8, 2011. This major event takes place in Front Royal, VA. Our Virginia to Africa booth will be located on Chester St., and our proceeds will be donated to the Liberian Orphan Education Project (LOEP ).
Our next Harrisonburg Farmer’s Market date is Sat. Sept. 10th:
Beth has some great new gift items, including gorgeous wine bags which are multi-purpose and made for heavy duty use.
I will have a good supply of beeswax candles and cards. My customers and I both prefer the natural color of beeswax in varying shades of white to golden yellow, so no dyes or artificial colors. I will have my hand dipped 8 and 10 inch tapers, plus votives, and molded beehive candles.
Farmer’s Market customers, please take note: If you wish to buy for the Christmas and holiday gift giving season, you should plan to come see us on Sept. 10. Future vending dates for fall will be uncertain depending upon our sales at the Festival of Leaves and turnaround time for filling other orders. We are already very busy with pre-orders and our time is limited due to the nature of our handmade products.
